Multidisciplinary Research
and Innovation Center

In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes the promotion of multi-disciplinary research, innovation and entrepreneurship within Higher Education Institutions and also in accordance with the guidelines issued by UGC/AICTE, Multidisciplinary Research and Innovation Center (MRIC) is constituted in the institution. It is chaired by the Principal of the Institution.

Research Centres

MES College of Arts Commerce and Science have two research centres:

Research Centre in Applied Mathematics:

Post Graduate Department of Mathematics was established in the year 1986 affiliated to Bangalore University, Bangalore was upgraded to Research centre in Applied Mathematics in the year 2005 by Bangalore University, Bangalore. The centre has got continuation of affiliation to Bengaluru City University, Bengaluru from 2018. Seven students have been conferred with Doctoral degree.

Research Centre in Kannada:

Post Graduate Department of Kannada was established in the year 2005 affiliated to Bangalore University, Bangalore and continued its affiliation to Bengaluru City University, Bengaluru has been recognized as a research Centre in the year 2018 from Bengaluru City University, Bengaluru.
